Why... do I hear these voices? Time… never makes much sense I’m… feeling used and useless Why won’t it just end? You’re always you, forever more Explore the depths inside your soul Not just the words you think you heard They’re just a door to something more In all you hear and all you see There’s a hidden remedy To set you free from hurt and pain The blame is yours - and that’s the key But my dear guest, I do my best I don’t express my thoughts of hate I never fight, and yet my sight Is set on spitefulness of late I’m seeing anger, loss and shame The pain of others with my name Upon it, why won’t it just end, My friend, I’m tired of this game Listen to yourself. What does your heart tell you? My heart is heavy from events My sense too sensitive to bear I’m not aware of what I need To lead away from this despair I’m just too weak to speak the truth Of what I know the truth to be I see too much what others don’t … and it’s slowly killing me Listen to yourself. What does your heart tell you? I need to speak to that soul That I don’t know But who strolls By my window Each day and all year Through the window, I pray I’ll approach him one day What stops you? I guess it’s my fear Face. Your. Fear.

You used to show me pretty things I used to sing in all my dreams When I was young, for fun we flew And then I knew that I had wings You whispered secrets I could hear Not with my ears, but in my heart Why do I feel I’m torn apart? And that you’re anywhere but near? You know I’m always by your side I never left and yet you hide Behind a wall that you have built to not feel anger, shame or guilt You must remember what is true Not what is good, but what is real And then you really have to feel it yes, you really have to feel But don’t I see and feel too much? Am I not touching on what’s true? What you cannot see is you Then please tell me what to do You must speak to that soul That you know And who strolls By your window each day and all year Tomorrow’s the day You must not look away Tomorrow you must Face Your Fear
